Dear friends:

新冠肺炎疫情发生以来，日喀则市委、市政府始终把人民生命安全和身体健康放在首位，采取切实有效措施，外防输入、内防扩散。在此，我们向在日喀则的各位外籍人士提示如下：

Since the outbreak of Covid-19, Shigatse Municipal Committee of Communist Party of China and the Municipal People’s Government have always put the health and safety of the people on the top agenda, and adopted effective measures to prevent the epidemic from spreading within the region or beyond. Hereby, we bring the following matters to your special attention：

一、关注官方信息。请您及时关注日喀则市人民政府官方“日喀则新闻中心”“青稞视界”等公众号发布的疫情防控相关信息。

First, follow official information. Please closely follow the epidemic-related information published on the official Wechat accounts of  Shigatse News Center （日喀则新闻中心）and Highland Barley Vision （青稞视界）of Shigatse Municipal People’s Government.

二、切实加强个人防护。非必要不远行，非必要不聚集。外出时携戴口罩，在公共场所须佩戴口罩。做好单位、家庭清洁卫生和消毒措施，常通风，勤洗手。遵守咳嗽礼仪，保持“一米线”社交距离。做好自身健康监测，如出现发热、干咳、乏力、咽痛、嗅（味）觉减退、腹泻等不适症状，第一时间向所在地社区报告，按要求到就近的医疗机构发热门诊进行排查诊治，就医途中做好防护，避免乘坐公共交通工具。

Second, strengthen personal protection. Avoid unnecessary travel and gathering. Take your mask when getting outside and wear a mask in public. Take timely cleaning and disinfection and ensure good ventilation and frequent hand-washing. Observe cough etiquette and 1-meter social distance. Keep a close eye on your health condition. If you develop symptoms like fever, dry cough, fatigue, sore throat, hyposmia (hypogeusia) or diarrhea, please report to your local community administration promptly, take proper self-protection measures on the way to the nearest fever clinic for medical check and treatment, during which public transportation should be avoided.

三、接种新冠病毒疫苗。目前，接种疫苗依然是最有效的新冠病毒预防手段。我们鼓励个人在知情、同意、自愿的前提下接种新冠疫苗，共同构建免疫屏障。

Third, take vaccine shot. At present, vaccination remains the most effective way for preventing from contracting Covid-19. On the precondition of being properly informed, you are encouraged to take vaccine jabs with your consent and on a voluntary basis.By so doing, we can jointly build an immune shield.

四、做好报备登记。外籍人士需如实填写入藏健康申明和报备登记，积极配合联检部门做好身份查验和体温监测等疫情防控工作。

Fourth, submit relevant registration information. Foreigners shall honestly fill in the Health Condition Statement Registration Form before arriving in Tibet Autonomous Region and take the initiative to cooperate with relevant authorities in Covid-19 prevention and control measures like ID check and body temperature monitoring. 

在防疫中，我们一贯秉持“一视同仁”原则，对中外公民实行无差别防控措施。日喀则是我们共同的家园。让我们一道做好疫情防控工作，为守护在日人员的健康安全共同努力！

In the fight against Covid-19, we are committed to applying absolutely the same prevention and control measures or requirements to either foreign or Chinese nationals. Shigatse is our common home. Let’s join hands in the prevention and control of Covid-19 and safeguard the health of all the people in Shigatse.
